The Millennium Pune Festival 2000

The Pune Festival is an annual cultural extravaganza put together by the Pune Festival Committee, Citizens of Pune, the Maharashtra Tourist Development Corporation and the Department of Tourism, Govt. of India.

McDonald's got into the spirit of the festival and lined up something special for the little ones: 'Ugawate Tare' [Rising Stars], a programme for children between 7 - 14 years of age at the Shri Ganesh Kala Krida Rangmanch.

The kids presented items in singing, dancing, drama and mimicry. About 150 children participated across the 2 days during which the event took place.
