Currently, McDonald's has a network of over 250 restaurants across the country. There are plans to open about 30-40 restaurants in the year 2012 itself. With plans to open more and more restaurants every year, McDonald's generates employment and income opportunities for the local people.
To work with the McDonald's brand, the primary qualities that we look for in a candidate is the willingness to learn, the ability to think on his / her feet along with the social skills and attitude to work together with other employees. McDonalds globally follows the leadership competency framework which has McDonalds Values at the core. At the Restaurant level for example, the key things we would look for are - Communicates Effectively, Put the Guests First, Achieving through Teamwork and Executing for Results. The only education qualification required for the restaurant crew level is he/she must be a 12th Std pass along with being 18 yrs or above.
