Principal Accountabilities
The Trainee Floor Manager’s role is to first learn and then supervise people and manage the restaurant to achieve the stores business results by using the learnings. In addition to following McDonald's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
1. People

Responsible for implementation of all regional marketing activities with the objective of achieving the sales plan.
1. Responsible for implementing all BTL (below-the-line) elements in lines with the marketing plans.
2. Support in delivery of ATL (above-the-line) elements in conjunction with the Brand Marketing team.
3. Work with internal and external stakeholders for New store launch and trade area activation
4. Responsible for implementation of Playbook to drive sales, guest count targets & region profitability
5. Analyse key business metrics and highlight opportunity areas in regards to - sales/guest counts, consumer impact, P&L/ cash flow, promotions, competitive environment
6. Assist in developing marketing plans for the region in regards to – calendar of events, media plans, field programs etc.
7. Ensure implementation of Brand activation plans across the target area.
8. Devise innovation customer engagement plans, retail campaigns to implement at the target markets with an objective to improve GCs and increase sales.
9. Responsible for driving the birthday party numbers across the region.
10. Work with the External communications and Corporate Affairs team for leveraging the Brand – Ronald.
11. Responsible for development of regional creatives [TV, radio, outdoor, print and restaurant merchandising etc].
12. Drive sale of vouchers, E-codes and Bulk orders.
13. Develop promotional tie-ups and alliances in the trade area to nurture consumer connect and amplify regional sale numbers.
14. Ensure proper use of the McDonald's trademarks, logos, producer's licenses and make sure all advertising materials have legal and creative approval.

Responsible for developing the annual Financial Planning process across organization, release of the monthly MIS reports and develop analytics for accurate MIS and financial insights.
Update of quarterly projections on a regular basis to project expected & annual quarter results.
Release of monthly MIS reports and other analytical reports. Provide financial analytics and insights support to leadership and thereby supporting the decisions that provide direction to the organization. Monitor performance measures that are critical to company's strategic direction
Develop Financial Models for projections, planning as well as customised Business Cases.Undertake ROI, NPV, marginal cost and other financial metric analysis to support financial decision making
Handle Development Finance - Financial evaluation and MIS related to new store openings and re-investments
Manage the Internal MIS system to generate timely and up to date MIS system
Partner with Strategic Planning function in preparation of trend, variance & RCA reports on financial results, costs (operating & capex), revenues, cost to income ratio, profitability ratio to give clarity on the financial health of the business to top management
Work closely with Head McOpco accounting and other business functions to proactively provide financial insights, assess financial deviations in ‘Planned Vs Actuals’ , analyze the reasons and suggest steps for course correction
Work towards identifying means for cost optimization and focus on continual improvement in financial health of the organization
Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile

Responsible for handling design services, including restaurant layouts, kitchen layouts and installation drawings, interior design, decor fit-out and signages.
Responsible for Kitchen layout and signage designs.
Coordinates in the site development process to ensure project runs smoothly to meet timelines and within budget.
Work with Project Manager for site measurement and verification of as built conditions of the site.
Ensure correct sizing of Kitchen equipment package.
Plan entire restaurant design, decor and ambience including optimizing seating capacity, presentations drawings and construction details and specification.
Assist Project Managers on installations of all agreed decor items and supervision if required at times.
Upkeep of Design resource and reference library of existing and new stores, layouts and information.
Liaise with Project Managers on periodic site inspections of finishes.
